just discovered the work of martabel wasserman (from this is that) i really like the whole flat, 3-D thing. i've seen a lot of it lately. i guess it's just a 3-D version of collage art, which i've always really liked. seems like an easy art i guess, but to get it just right takes a good eye. i think the wonderwoman girl kinda looks like me.





i also like these pieces from marcus kison which have a similar feel, but are much simpler creations. we can all be artistes now! i originally saw these on this awesome blog eug introduced me to called your daily awesome. unfortunately, it is now defunct, but the posts are still available for your reading and viewing pleasure. if you haven't seen it then it's new to you...
