Lladro does more traditional pieces. A lot of them are kinda cheese, but there are some pretty, more contemporary ones in there as well.
We walked into a new furniture store at Pacific Place today. Found a super cool rug, but unfortunately the price was way uncool - $42,000 HK. It’s from The Rug Company, designed by Committee. They also have some designed by Marni, Vivienne Westwood and others.

And lastly, Eug and I have been playing designer ourselves! We’ve been experimenting with dyes lately. We started off with tie-dye. Using my jr. high experience and a youtube tutorial we did some on headbands, socks and tees. It was fun, but a bit too hippyish. So then we just dyed t-shirts without all the swirls and stuff. Got some kinda cool results. Next, I want to try some on a light-colored pair of jeans. We’re hoping to host a night of Drinking and Dying (clothes, not like death-dying, of course) with a few friends soon. Hopefully the dyes we bought will survive washings.
